increase your sense of social safety

Advances in applied neuroscience allow you to re-balance your nervous system simply by listening to filtered music.  The Safe and Sound Protocol was developed by a neuroscience researcher to stimulate the vagus nerve using sound waves.  Over the course of five total hours of listening the vagus nerve engages the parasympathetic nervous system, increasing your sense of calm and safety in everyday life.
This protocol functions best as an adjunct to another form of therapy or structured learning/growth. It can be used in children or adults to augment the benefits of speech therapy, behavior therapy, social skills curricula, psychotherapy, etc.  When participants feel calmer and safer, they may be able to more fully take advantage of these kinds of social learning opportunities.
